An All Age Service, continuing the Easter resurrection theme.
Easter Sunday (Matthew 28:1-10)
All Age Holy Communion and Celebration (St. Luke’s, 11am) – Celebrating the resurrection of Jesus and the hope of life it brings.
The Easter Story is an emotional rollercoaster. It takes us from the depths of human cruelty and agony to the highs of the most incredible and hope-giving miracle.
Palm Sunday (Matthew 21:1-11)
This Sunday we celebrate Palm Sunday. The children’s groups will be running as normal. Join us for all the normal praise, prayer and Bible Teaching. Don’t forget the clocks go forward on Sunday night!!
As part of her preparation to be enthroned as Archbishop, Sarah Mullally chose to walk a 72 mile pilgrimage from St. Paul’s, Cathedral in her previous Diocese of London, to the Cathedral church of her new Diocese in Canterbury. One thing she didn’t do was ride a donkey!
At the heart of the Christian faith is the death and resurrection of Jesus. Jesus died for our sins on the cross, bringing us peace with God. He rose from the dead giving us hope of eternal life. Join us to celebrate all that Jesus did for us and achieved and find peace and hope for today.
Peace (Philippians 4:2-9)
This Sunday we will be looking at ‘Peace’ as the third characteristic of the fruit of the Spirit. The children’s groups will be running as normal.
How can we find inner peace in a world of war and sickness?
Love (1 John 4:7-12)
This Sunday is Mothering Sunday and we will be having an All-Age service to celebrate our mothers. Linked with this, we will be looking at ‘Love’ as another characteristic of the fruit of the Spirit. Sparklers will be running as normal, but the school age children will be joining in with the rest of the service.
