Sunday Services

Our Sunday Service is our main gathering every week. It starts at 11am and usually lasts for about an hour. Everyone is welcome! Find out what we get up to below.

For those still concerned about Covid there is a ‘socially distanced’ mask wearing section for people to sit in. You can also watch the service online through our YouTube channel.

What happens during the service?

The service begins with everyone together. We sing praises to God, say a prayer of confession and often sing some children’s songs with actions. Then usually the children go to groups for different ages (0-14).

Some weeks we have an All Age service, when the children stay with us the whole time, but the teaching, then is more interactive and accessible for children.

The rest of the service includes more songs of praise, prayers for the world and its needs, a Bible reading and a sermon where the Bible is taught and applied to life today.

The children return during our last hymn, unless it is a service of Holy Communion (usually third Sunday of the month), when they return to share with us in remembering the death of Jesus for us.

After the service most people remain for a chat and a drink.
