This week we continue our series on the stories Jesus told, with a look at one of the most famous parables of all, the Parable of the Prodigal Son. It is also a Holy Communion at St. Luke’s this week, with all the normal children’s groups running.
Rich Regret (Luke 16:19-31)
This week we will be looking at another of the stories Jesus told from Luke’s gospel, the Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus. An appropriate parable for Homelessness Sunday! We will also be hearing from Shiela Porter about the work of Myriad that supports the setting up of new worshipping communities. The normal children’s groups will be running. Harvest – Sowing for Growth (Luke 8:1-15)
This week is Harvest. We will be having an All Age service, although Sparklers will still be running. During the service we will be collecting non-perishable food for the local food bank and donations towards the work of Mercy Ships. See more information below.

This week is a Holy Communion service. There will be the normal children’s groups and our theme will be looking at another one of the stories that Jesus tells, the parable of the crafty steward.

This week is a baptism service, with all the normal children’s groups running. Continuing our series on the stories Jesus tells, we will be looking at the parables of the lost sheep and lost coin.
