The Great Escape (Exodus 14:10-18)
This week we look at the victory God gives to the Israelites, when they are trapped between the advancing Egyptian army and the Red Sea. All children’s groups are running as normal.
A Woman’s Fight (Judges 4:1-24)
This week we continue our them of ‘Fight the good fight’ and consider one of the battles in the book of Judges, where it was the women that followed God’s initiative. Tomorrow is a Holy Communion service with the normal children’s groups running.
Joy in Victory (Psalm 126)
This week we welcome the friends and family of Eden Meyrick for her baptism. All our children’s groups are back after a three week break and we will also be reflecting on the upcoming VE day and joy in victory.
Jesus’ Resurrection (Luke 24:1-12)
Easter Sunday is the climactic Sunday of the Christian message as we gather to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This will be an All Age service and include Holy Communion.
Jesus’ Triumphal Entry (Luke 19:28-40)
This Sunday is an All Age service as we join the crowds and celebrate Jesus as king.
Jesus’ Anointing (John 12:1-8)
This week we consider Jesus’ anointing by Mary in the lead up to his death and resurrection. There will be all the normal children’s groups, music, prayers and Bible teaching.
It’s Mothering Sunday and we will be having an interactive All Age service giving thanks for mothers in general and hearing what Jesus said to his mother as he hung on the cross. Don’t forget the clocks go forward early Sunday morning – don’t be late for church!
Jesus’ Invitation (Isaiah 55)
This Sunday we look at Isaiah 55, a passage that powerfully sums up how God relates to his people and the invitation that is offered to us all. Join us for praise, prayer and Bible teaching, with all the normal children’s groups.
Jesus’ Sorrow (Luke 13:31-35)
This Sunday we look at Jesus’s passionate reaction to the city of Jerusalem in his time. This week we will be celebrating Holy Communion and there will be all the normal children’s groups.
