So, in the church, there are a variety of members each with distinctive roles. Each one is needed, valued and equipped by the Spirit with a specific gift, which is to be used not for their own good, but for the good of the body as a whole.

Easter 2024
Easter is the main season of celebration at the heart of the Christian faith. Christ’s death for our sins and the defeat of death in his resurrection brings us peace and hope beyond measure. It is good to focus a fresh on these central truths at this time of year.
Sunday 10th March, 11:00am – Livestream
This Sunday is Mothering Sunday. There will be an All-Age service, which will include a craft activity for children and flowers will be distributed for mothers and women generally during the service. We will also be reflecting on 1 Corinthians 13.
10th March Notices
The Bible talks a lot about love. In the New Testament, the focus is mainly on God’s love for us and the commands to love God and others: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son…”, “Love the Lord your God…”, “Love your neighbour as yourself.”

This Sunday we are delighted to be having a baptism during our service. Our theme for the service is Biblical Warnings. There will be the normal children’s groups running.

For my birthday my brother-in-law bought me a t-shirt. It had pictures of chess pieces and a pithy saying: ‘I never lose – either I win, or I learn.’ Learning from your losses is an important thing to do, but even better is to learn before you lose – especially when the stakes are higher than the result of a board game.

This Sunday we continue our Lent series on 1 Corinthians 8-14, looking at 1 Corinthians 9 and Paul’s passion to win people for Christ. Our normal groups for young people are running: Sparklers, which will be for children up to and including the Reception Year at school. Sunday Club (Years 1 to 6) and Pathfinders (Years 7 to 10) will also be running as normal.
25th February Notices
Paul is concerned to win. But he is not after the prestige associated with winning a competition or the glory of being a top sportsman. His concern is to win people for Christ.
Sunday 18th February, 11:00am – Livestream
This Sunday we begin our Lent series on 1 Corinthians 8-14. Also, this Sunday we relaunch Sparklers, which will be for children up to and including the Reception Year at school. Sunday Club (Years 1 to 6) and Pathfinders (Years 7 to 10) will also be running as normal. This Sunday is also a communion service.
