This week all our children’s groups meet as normal and there is the regular mix of songs of praise, prayers and Biblical teaching. We start a new series on the Book of Daniel and see how he coped when he found himself in the midst of a pagan culture.

This week is a communion service at St. Luke’s and the last in our series on Biblical Visions, we look at the very last chapter in the Bible. Our service will include all the normal groups for young people.

We finish our series of Biblical Visions, with the last chapter of the Bible. It is the conclusion of Revelation, a book full of visions of the future.
Light Party 2024, 31st October
A great alternative to Halloween, for all ages. Food, fun and treats (no tricks). Fancy dress, please (but not scary). Children must be with an adult at the party.

This week is a double baptism at St. Luke’s. Fittingly, we come to the fifth in our series on Biblical Visions, with Jesus’ last words in Matthew’s gospel, where he tells his disciples to make more disciples by baptising them into the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Our service will include all the normal groups for young people.

This week we return to our theme of Biblical Visions and look at Jeremiah’s prophecy of a coming ‘new covenant’, which will bring forgiveness and transformed hearts and minds. Our service will include all the normal groups for young people.

New Noticeboards
The new noticeboards are up! Thank you to all those who contributed to buying them and to Shaun for erecting them (with a little help from Jonah).
Youth Hangout – Opening from Thursday 3rd October, 3-6pm
Opening for all Secondary school aged pupils (Years 7-13), our new after school club: Youth Hangout. The club will be running in St. Luke’s church building from 3-5pm each Thursday in term time. People can drop in at any time.
