Hall Hire

If you are using the hall and there is an emergency or urgent need that can’t wait, please ring 07804252006. If no answer ring 01843 592562, go to the vicarage.

We have a lovely hall, with a good kitchen, tables, chairs and a stage. Bouncy Castles are allowed (if they fit) and the hall is often used for children’s birthday parties.

You can book a one-off or occasional session using an online form and pay by credit or debit card for £26 per hour. Just click the button below. Please note this is a new booking system as of February 2024. For guidance on using this form please see the booking notes below.

The hall is often booked for children’s parties and bouncy castles provided by an approved supplier are allowed. Other uses of the hall include, slimming groups, choirs, drop ins, photo shoots etc.

We also have a smaller room, called the Perry Room, which can hold up to 15 people. Ideal for small group meetings and only £13 per hour.

Notes on Booking Form

  1. The first page will ask you for the date of your booking (Date), the number of people you are expecting to attend (Delegates), what you want to use the hall for (Category) and the times you want to access the hall from (Start at) to the time you will leave the hall (Finish at). Please remember to allow for setting up before your party or event and tidying up afterwards.
  2. You can also choose to book for a repeat event, i.e. once a week for a few weeks. However, if this is going to be a regular weekly booking, then we may be able to offer cheaper rates. Please contact our bookings manager, Becky, bookings@stlukesramsgate.org or 07804252006 for more information.
  3. Once you have filled in these details, please click, the ‘Find Rooms’ button.
  4. If the hall is not available at that time or the number of delegates is too high (maximum 60 for the church hall), it will respond with, ‘There are no rooms matching your criteria.’ Please try a different date or time, to see if you can find one that works for you.
  5. If St. Luke’s Main Hall is available, then please ignore, the ‘Layout’ section and click ‘Select’ on then click ‘Next’.
  6.  You will then be asked for your contact details. The starred items need to be filled in to proceed. Then click ‘Next.’
  7.  The final step is to submit your Payment details for your Payment Card and Billing Address. Finally click, ‘Submit Payment.’
  8. Within 7 days of your submission, our bookings manager will review your booking and if there are no issues approve it, which involves taking payment at that point. If there are any issues with the booking they will contact you to see if they can be resolved before approving and charging.
  9. Once the booking has been approved, the bookings manager will contact you to confirm your booking. They will also contact you a few days before the date of your hall hire to arrange opening up the hall.
